A Look Back at the Past 2 Years

I have long been a believer in manifesting the reality you wish to see in the world. 2 years ago, December 21st, 2020, I put a video out into the world describing what a revival of rural America looked like. It was a vision of many communities coming together…organic farmers, artisan food makers, and customers alike.

2 years later, as I sit here and write this blog, we made that vision into reality. We currently have 23 farmers producing nutrient-dense meat. We have 6 small-scale artisan processors that are butchering steaks, smoking hams and bellies, and crafting sausages. We have over 500 members within our delivery area that have made a decision to partner with us to feed them.

I really have to step back this week and take a moment of reflection on how beautiful this is. The building of these communities and more importantly, the joining of these communities is exactly how it should be. Our motto is “Meat the way it should be”...but really it should be “Life the way it should be”.

I can’t thank you all enough for coming along for this journey. We have much work to do to change the food and farming system that has been built incorrectly over the last 50 years. We have only just begun…and we can’t wait to see what the next 2 years will manifest for all of us on this road back to health!
